Microsoft confirmed that 13 games from Electronic Arts have been updated to allow for its FPS boost feature in the Xbox Série X / S .
Announced in February, the FPS Boost is a system-level feature that boosts performance in some backward compatible titles, without requiring changes to the original game code.
He watches the games Xbox One supported games running at up to four times their original frame rate, with the first titles to use the feature being Far Cry 4, New Super Lucky's Tale, Sniper Elite 4, Watch Dogs 2 and EA's UFC 4.

Microsoft said the 13 newly updated titles, which are available with subscriptions Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play, now support 120 Hz on Xbox Series X, except Sea of Solitude which is limited to 60 Hz.
After the March 2021 Xbox System Update, users can go to the 'Manage Game' section for any title, where they will be presented with a 'Compatibility Options' button that lets you toggle FPS Boost and Auto HDR (which adds HDR improvements to games that ship with standard dynamic range only) turned on or off.
Once the game is restarted, the selections will be applied.
To see if a title is running FPS Boost ou Auto HDR, gamers can also press the Xbox button on their controllers during a game and an indicator in the top right corner will confirm whether the features are enabled or not.
