in this guide League of Legends: Wild Rift Varus, you'll find everything you need to know about the champion, from his abilities and how to allocate them to his build, skill combo, and runes. Here's what you'll find in the Varus guide below:

    • Varus Abilities
    • skill combos
    • Order of skill level increase
    • Summoner Spells
    • Runes
    • Items

The next champion of wild reeft in the list is very interesting (and somewhat unique), Varus, Also known as The Arrow Of Retribution. It does mixed damage (decreasing AD and AP), so you can choose your build based on your playstyle or your team's needs.

If you want a champion that can be played in every way you can imagine (except tanking, but I haven't tried it yet, who knows, maybe it's possible?), nudging the enemy from a distance and being a lane bully, then you definitely want to take a look at this one.

    Living Revenge (Passive)

When killing or assisting, Varus temporarily gains Attack Speed. This bonus is higher if the enemy is a champion.

    Piercing Arrow (skill 1)

Varus braces himself and then fires a powerful shot that gains extra range and damage the longer he spends preparing to fire.

    Wounded quiver (skill 2)

Passive: Varus' basic attacks deal bonus magic damage and apply Blight. Varus' other abilities detonate Blight, dealing magic damage based on the target's maximum Health.

Active: Varus powers his next Piercing Arrow.

    Hail of Arrows (Skill 3)

Varus fires a volley of arrows that deal physical damage and desecrate the ground. Desecrated ground slows enemies' Movement Speed and reduces their self-healing and regeneration.

Chain of Corruption (Skill 4 / Ultimate)

Varus releases a tendril of harmful corruption that immobilizes the first enemy champion it hits, then spreads towards nearby uninfected champions, immobilizing them on contact as well.

    How to combine as Varus:

Unlike many of the other champions we've covered (and will) Varus can build in many ways and still provide the same utility to the team.

    Magic damage compilation

In case you decide to play Varus as an Ability Power (AP) charge, Varus' damage comes from his passive in Skill 2. Each auto attack will apply a stack of Plague to the target while his other skills (Skills 1 and 3) will detonate those stacks, dealing magic damage (per stack). The more stacks you apply, the more damage you will do (maximum 3 stacks). You can visibly see the number of stacks on a target (they appear as purple diamonds around the target).

His skill 4 (Ultimate) deals AP damage on hit, will root and apply the maximum number of Blight stacks to targets.

Until you learn Ultimate, your only way to apply Blight stacks to your enemy comes with your auto attacks . Whenever Varus kills an enemy champion or minion, he gains a good amount of attack speed. So make sure you hit the minions last properly to process your passive. This will definitely help you apply those stacks faster.

A very easy way to apply maximum Blight stacks and get good damage is as follows:

    Skill 2 -> Skill 4 -> Skill 3 -> Skill 1

    Physical damage build

If you decide to build Varus as a Physical damage load, most of the damage will come from charging your arrow. In this case, you'll start by maxing Skill 1 followed by Skill 3 and then maxing Skill 2 last. You can still use Skill 2 for the extra damage that comes from detonating Blight stacks, but since you're building AD this damage is very low compared to the AP build.

    Build of “Traditional ADC”

If you find the 'traditional' ADC style of play more enjoyable, there is another way to discriminate against Varus. You focus more on your critical attack rate and damage on hit. Of course, all the combos we talked about before still apply to this build, but most of Varus' damage will come from his auto attacks.

One of the best combos you can do as a “traditional ADC” is the following:

    Skill 3 -> Skill 1-> Skill 2

Be sure to keep a safe distance from your enemies while charging Skill 1 . Varus cannot escape without his Ultimate (when he roots enemies) and his Flash. No matter what type of item build you choose, there are certain things you should be aware of. the positioning is the most important aspect of your gameplay, regardless of items and build.

In what order to level up skills?

No Varus of damage AD , you want to maximize your Skill 1 first, then Skill 3, and finally your Skill 2.

    • Level 1: skill 1
    • Level 2: skill 3
    • Level 3: skill 2
    • Level 4: skill 1
    • Level 5: skill 4
    • Level 6: skill 1
    • Level 7: Skill 1

Keep leveling Skill 1 until it's maxed out, then focus on Skill 3 and lastly Skill 2. Of course, whenever you can, you want to add 1 point to your (final) Skill 4.

Em Varus of AP damage , you want to go to Skill 2 first, then Skill 1, and finally Skill 3.

    • Level 1: skill 1
    • Level 2: skill 3
    • Level 3: skill 2
    • Level 4: skill 2
    • Level 5: skill 4
    • Level 6: skill 2
    • Level 7: skill 2

Keep leveling Skill 2 until it's maxed out, then focus on Skill 1 and finally Skill 3. Any chance you get, add 1 point to your Skill 4 (final).

    The best summoner spells

Healing : Restores 80-360 Health and grants 30% additional Movement Speed for 1 second to you and the most injured friendly champion nearby. Healing is halved for champions recently affected by Heal

Flash: Teleport a short distance forward or in the desired direction.

Runes for Varus are usually the same no matter which item you choose. At the moment there are no other runes that work well with him besides the Fleet Footwork (perhaps Cleptomancy), then choose this one.

    Football boots

Gluttonous Quicksilver is one of the best options in Varus, as you'll need a means to dispel crowd control effects.
