in this guide League of Legends: Wild Rift Rakan, you'll find everything you need to know about the champion, from his abilities and how to allocate them to his build, skill combo, and runes. Here's what you'll find in the Rakan guide below:

    • Rakan's abilities
    • skill combos
    • Order of skill level increase
    • Summoner Spells
    • Runes
    • Items

The Charmer, better known as Rakan in Wild rift , is our next champion getting a guide. This cool support unit is definitely a favorite among professional League of Legends players and also a favorite in the solo queue, and what better time to add the pair of lovers to Wild Rift than now, on Valentine's Day?

Rakan is an incredible engagement support, providing shields and (some) healing to his allies, but he is best known for his flashy playstyle and his ability to turn any battle in his team's favor.

This champion's kit isn't too hard, but it isn't as suitable for beginners either. You need to know exactly when and how to combine your skills and recognize when is the best time to take on enemy players (without losing your life).

But let's be honest, if you really want to play with a good looking stand with a generally good kit that will have an impact at any stage of the game then Rakan It's definitely the best choice you could choose!

    Fey Feathers (Passive)

    Rakan periodically gains a shield.

    Glittering Feather (Ability 1)

Throws a magic feather that deals magic damage. Hitting a champion or epic monster allows Rakan to heal his allies.

    Grand Entrance (Skill 2)

Advances to a location, launching nearby enemies on arrival.

    Battle Dance (Skill 3)

Fly to an allied champion, granting them a shield. It can be re-released for free for a short period.

The Swiftness (Skill 4 / Ultimate)

Gain movement speed, charm and deal magic damage to enemies touched.

    How to combine like Rakan

There are so many combos you could pull off as a Rakan player, it's not even funny. For starters, you can use your skills both offensively and defensively – it all depends on the situation as Rakan is extremely mobile and you can use that to your advantage.

    Skill 4 (final) -> Skill 2 -> Skill 3 (for an ally)

This is a really basic combo of his, and you can consider it his main “engagement combo”. You'll enchant all enemies, basically immobilizing them (well, not really, more like "trapping them") and then quickly following up with your Skill 2 to take them down. This will allow your allies to do a lot of damage and keep up with any crowd control they may have.

During team fights, this combo is one of the deadliest in the game, especially when paired with an Orianna or a Malphite, both of which provide their own (massive) crowd control.

Skill 3 (for an ally in front) -> Skill 2 (for an enemy)

This would be Rakan's "ambush" combo, which many new players don't expect. It's really powerful, and you should take advantage of it whenever you can, especially when your enemy's Flash is getting cold.

    Flash -> Skill 2

You can always surprise your enemies by casting Flash before Skill 2 - this will greatly increase the range you advance with Skill 2 (by Flash's distance), and you can reach enemies that are really far away like that.

It's also a great (and unexpected) combo to throw when you know you're expecting a gank from your jungler or mid laner.

Use skill 4 (ultimate) to start team fights, cancel enemy skills or escape

As I mentioned before, you can use Rakan's kit in a million different ways. For example, you can use the latest in team fights because it will give your team an edge in most situations.

If you see an enemy Jhin or Miss Fortune start casting their ultimate skill at your side, for example, you can defeat them to instantly cancel theirs. Of course, it all depends on your positioning and theirs, so don't dive under enemy turrets simply to cancel your ults!

Lastly, you can use Celerity to evade an enemy champion that is chasing you and quickly gaining speed. If you don't have Flash or prefer not to burn it, then using max to increase movement speed might be a wise choice (although it should be a last resort as you'll run out of it while it's cooling).

Use skill 3 to gain extra distance or to dodge skills

As strange as it may seem, your shield may not always be there for protection purposes. Instead, you can use it to sprint to an ally that is in front, and from there you can continue with your Skill 2 or Skill 4 -> Skill 2 combo.

Also, during the laning phase, don't be afraid to use skill 3 to run to your laner if you're trying to dodge some incoming skills - consider this a "faux-Flash" (probably not what your laner wants). would like to see, but hey – even the brackets need some “support” sometimes).

Don't rely too much on skill 1

While Skill 1 provides "some" healing, it really isn't that great. So don't get smug hoping to get some crazy healing results, because chances are you won't see them.

What is the best order to level up skills?

In Rakan, you want to max out your Skill 3 first, then Skill 2, and finally your Skill 1.

    • Level 1: skill 3
    • Level 2: skill 2
    • Level 3: skill 1
    • Level 4: Skill 3
    • Level 5: skill 4
    • Level 6: skill 3
    • Level 7: Skill 3

Keep leveling Skill 3 until it's maxed out, then focus on Skill 2 and lastly Skill 1. Of course, whenever you can, you want to add 1 point to your (final) Skill 4.

    The best summoner spells

Exhaustion : Exhausts target enemy champion, reducing their movement speed by 20% and their damage dealt by 40% for 2,5 seconds.

Flash: Teleport a short distance forward or in the desired direction.

    Football boots

Ionian Locket will be your top pick, as Rakan needs all the cooldown reduction he can get.

Ionian Glory is great if you want some extra movement speed when reaching fast enemies.

Ionian Stoneplate is another great option if you want to be even more robust!
