in this guide League of Legends: Wild Rift Graves, you'll find everything you need to know about the champion, from his abilities and how to allocate them to his build, skill combo, and runes. Here's what you'll find in the Graves guide below:
- Bass skills
- skill combos
- Order of skill level increase
- Summoner Spells
Graves the Outlaw is the next champion of the Wild rift that we are going to face. He is a powerful and fearless pirate who is not afraid to get his hands dirty, after all, he is from Bilgewater where looting, killing and forging are every man's breakfast.
Graves is often played in the Wilderness, where he has no trouble clearing camps and advancing the farm. Despite being a marksman, he will not do very well on the track, as his kit is very similar to that of Jhin, in the sense that he has to reload his weapon.
However, unlike Jhin, he doesn't have any other wave cleaning skills (other than Skill 1, which isn't very good for the laning phase).
He's extremely fun to play, and while he's not very beginner-friendly, you can definitely try to learn his kit if you want to switch to a jungle position. He is, and has long been, a jungler very good in both casual and competitive play. So give him a chance, you won't regret it!
LEAGUE OF LEGENDS: WILD RIFT SERIOUS SKILLS
New destination (passive)
Graves' shotgun has some unique properties. It should reload when it runs out of ammo. Attacks fire 4 bullets, which cannot pass through units. Non-champions hit by multiple bullets are knocked back.
End of the line (skill 1)
Graves fires an explosive projectile that detonates after 1,5 seconds, or 0,25 seconds if it hits terrain.
Smokescreen (skill 2)
Graves fires a can of smoke at the target area, creating a puff of smoke that reduces vision range. Enemies caught on initial impact take magic damage and have their movement speed reduced briefly.
Quickdraw (skill 3)
Graves advances by gaining an armor boost for several seconds. If Graves runs towards an enemy champion, he gains two stacks of True Grit. Hitting enemies with basic attacks decreases the cooldown of this skill and refreshes the stamina boost.
Collateral damage (skill 4 / ultimate)
Graves fires an explosive projectile, dealing heavy damage to the first champion it hits and knocking Graves back with recoil. After hitting a champion or reaching the end of its range, the projectile explodes dealing damage in a cone.
How to combine as Graves:
Graves doesn't have as many combos, as the hit kit is quite simple. You want to use his abilities depending on the situation, for example you can drop the Smoke Screen to try to get out of a fight by blinding the opponent. However, there are some useful combos to perform. Just keep in mind that you may need to go to the Practice Tool to get some training on how to use them.
– Flash -> Auto attack -> Skill 3 -> Auto attack -> Auto attack
This is a pretty simple combination to perform. since Graves has two bullets in his shotgun, he needs to reload every two auto-attacks. Then, you will use your skill 3 to run towards the opponent and shorten the distance between you.
– Use certain terrains (walls) to extend the range of your Skill 4 (final)
While his ultimate has a set range, you can use certain walls (like the walls between the middle of the lane and the river) to send him back and forth. This will only work for specific terrains. For example, it doesn't work on the big round wall next to the Blue/Red chandelier. But, this is a good way to shoot unexpected enemies.Read also

– Skill 2 -> Skill 4 (final) -> Flash
This is a very easy combination to make. You can use it to escape when being chased by enemies by dropping your Smoke Screen and then quickly using your ultimate (which will knock you back) along with the Flash.
– Skill 2 -> Auto attack -> Skill 3 -> Skill 1 -> Auto attack
This is a combo you can do before getting your ultimate, and it's usually ideal for when you're ganking in a lane.
– Restart auto attacks with skill 3
Using your Skill 3 will quickly reset auto attacks, making it easier to attack enemies and destroy them.
– Skill 2 -> Flash -> Auto attack -> Skill 3 -> Skill 1 -> Auto attack -> Skill 4 (final) -> Auto attack
This unique combination is quite difficult to accomplish. He takes advantage of Graves' high burst damage streak and uses Skill 3 to reach the opponent and reset auto attacks and deal tons of damage. Endgame, this is one of the strongest combos on Graves that can pretty much shoot any weak enemy.
– Skill 3 -> Skill 2 -> Skill 4 (final) -> Auto attack -> Skill 1 -> Auto attack
This is another difficult combo, but a little easier than the previous one. However, you need to make sure the opponent is in plain sight and not close to your turrets, because Skill 1 shots will not go through turrets. (or any terrain for that matter)
What is the best order to level up skills?
When you level up your skills, you want to prioritize Skill 1, then Skill 3, and finally Skill 2.
Level 1: Skill 3
Level 2: Skill 1
Level 3: Skill 2
Level 4: Skill 1
Level 5: Skill 4
Level 6: Skill 1
Level 7: Skill 1
Keep leveling Skill 1 until it's maxed out, then focus on Skill 2 and lastly Skill 3. Of course, whenever you can, you want to add 1 point to your (final) Skill 4.

WILD RIFT GRAVES – THE BEST RUNES
WILD RIFT GRAVES – THE BEST ITEMS
In terms of items, you can also opt for a more murderous approach to the game. Lethality Graves is more than viable as long as your team already has a tank that can absorb some damage. In that case, you can replace the Dance of Death by Youmu's Phantom Blade and the Guardian Angel for Draktharr's Twilight Blade .
Your ideal boots are Ninja Tabis, Mercury Threads ou Gluttonous Greaves . It all depends on the situation. Choose them based on your team's needs and your opponents' characters.
As for the enchantment, you can choose stasis ou Quicksilver .
