Players looking for Gible and Garchomp in the Sinnoh remakes will have to look hard as they are found in a hidden location. Here's where to find them in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.

While Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are mostly faithful reimaginings, Studio ILCA has added some new features to modernize fourth-gen RPGs.

While those looking for Gabite will have to find the dragon type in the same hidden location, Sinnoh remakes now offer trainers some new options for getting Garchomp.

The popular dragon type can be found in a hidden location in Sinnoh.

Where to find Gible and Garchomp in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Garchomp remains one of the most popular Pokémon of all time, and with good reason, as its insanely powerful moves pack a punch. So much so that even the champion of Sinnoh uses the dragon type to defend his title.

Players who want to get their hands on the Pok√©mon will have to wait until they defeat the Pok√©mon. Gym 6 em Canalave City  to get it. Below are the steps you will need to take to find Gible.

    1. Players must first obtain the HM of force  na Rota 209.  It can be found on the fifth floor of the lost tower  from the old lady's NPC. You must then defeat Gym Leader Byron in Canalave City to use it.
    2. Now travel to city ‚Äč‚Äčof Eternal  and take the south exit to the route 206 . Follow the Bike Path until you reach the end.
    3. After exiting the Cycling Road tunnel, immediately turn right and use the Cut HM to cut down a cluster of trees. Now follow the grass under the Cycling Road bridge and continue on the right.
    4. Once you reach the end of the path, you'll see a cave opening on the right. Ignore this. Instead, walk immediately to the left until you're under the bridge and press forward to find a secret cave opening that can't be seen on screen.
    5. when you are in Wayward Cave , use a Pokemon that knows Flash (Flash TM can be found in Oreburgh Gate) so you can see it, then use the Force to push the boulder blocking the way. Enter the opening on the left.
    6. Get on your bike  and use second gear to climb two slopes . Then turn right and jump three ramps in a row.
    7. You will now be on a square area of ‚Äč‚Äčland. Run this way until Gible appears. It may take a while, as it has a spawning rate of 15% .

After capturing Gible, he needs to have his experience points increased until he reaches the level 24 to evolve to cabinet .

Now that you have your second evolution, you'll need to ruin the XP to get Gabite to the level 48 , which will automatically trigger your Garchomp evolution .

The Dragon-type's final evolution is at level 48.

    Grand Underground Garchomp Location

There is actually a second way to get Garchomp in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, and that is through the Grand Underground.

Both Gible and Gabite can be found by spawning specifically in the Riverbank Cave Hideaway. This specific room can be found by traveling to Jubilife City and using the Explorer Kit.

Note: At the time of this writing, it has not been confirmed whether the dragon type only spawns underground after you catch it. If the 'mon isn't showing up, make sure you find Gible in the Wayward Cave on Route 206 first.

The dragon type can also be found in the Grand Underground.

While it's a little difficult to track down Gible at first, it's worth the effort as Garchomp is an amazing asset to your team.

The mighty 'mon is actually a big one against both the Elite Four and Sinnoh's champion, who specifically use a dragon type as their most dangerous weapon.
