Our updated list of levels in the Valuing for 2021 ranks all agents in the game against the most recent meta.

As a Valuing matured into a true competitive tactical shooter, so did his meta. With 15 agents to choose from, finding the right character for you, and your team, is harder than ever. Luckily for you, we've done the groundwork to develop this list of levels for the Valuing helpful.

Our tier list, which is updated with every major patch Valuing, takes the current meta into account, along with the overall effectiveness of each agent. You'll find that the meta changes slightly as you progress through the game's rankings. Valuing , so do your best to adapt to situations in real time.

So if you're trying to decide which agent to hire or who to spend more time working, let us help you. We spent countless hours crunching the numbers and dying hundreds of times, just so you didn't have to.

While we've listed Valorant agents in order of effectiveness, it's important to emphasize, however, that none of them are entirely unplayable. THE Riot Games did a great job of balancing their characters' abilities and it helps that all weapons are shared. As long as your economy is in good shape, you're fine to play with whichever agent you choose.

LIST OF VALORANT LEVELS

LevelAgents
layer 1Jett, Astra, Sage
layer 2 Sleep, Viper, Killjoy, Phoenix, Omen
3 Level Cypher, Raze, Brimstone, Reyna ,, Breach, Yoru,
4 LevelSkye

Now that we've presented our list of do levels, let's explain how we arrived at this ranking by analyzing each one of the agents.

JETT

jett is the fastest agent on the list. While she doesn't have the same elements of surprise that Omen can have in teleportation, jett can scare players away by its fast movements and vertical abilities. The Korean duelist commands the air, so he can launch himself up or forward, and his passivity means he can glide rather than fall to the ground (if you remember to hold on to space).

In the past, players liked to argue about how effective it really is, but in this patch, that discussion has been resolved. Professional and high-profile players have proven that Jett can be devastating as an entry fragger, as long as your aim is right, of course.

ASTRA

Astra is the most recent addition to Valorant and she is fundamentally changing the way competitive Valorant is changed, mainly due to her abilities.

Her Gravity Well attracts enemies, her New Pulse causes them concussions, and she smokes too. Her Ultimate Her splits the entire map in two with a giant wall that dampens sound and blocks fire. This can help Astra's entire team to hide her actions and surprise opponents.

However, while she is probably one of the strongest agents in the game right now, she relies heavily on communicators and thus can be very risky to play solo queue.

SAGE

Sage is the closest thing Valorant has to a support character. She can heal herself or others during a round, giving everyone a little more longevity on the playing field. Her ultimate ability also allows her to resurrect a teammate, traditionally making her an important agent in any team composition. Valuing.

Legend is not just a support as she has some of the best environmental skills. She can block off areas and take her enemies by surprise or force them to reveal their position by shooting at them. Your slow orbs can be great for defending points or gathering information. Despite a recent nerf to her abilities (including her solo healing), Legend it's still a solid choice.

LAYER 2

SLEEP

Sova is a great agent for team games. With scouting and damage-dealing abilities, playing Sova is an art. So if you want to play him, you need to know his angles. Sova's recon arrows are great for gathering information, but only if you know where to place them.

Sova might be at the top of the list, but if you're new to Valuing, knowing how to use it properly is a pain, and if you're alone in the queue, all the information you're gathering might not be worth much if your teammates are going it alone.

The archer also has his drone, which, again, is great for reconnaissance, but will reveal his position quickly. like the camera Cypher, she has a dart to mark opponents, but it can be easily destroyed and is difficult to hide.

He is by far the best information gatherer in the game, but learning how to best use these skills takes time.

VIPER

O Viper climbed the ranks after a fair amount of tweaking, resulting in more and more online play time. While she's still quite situational and can block a website all by herself in a matter of seconds, learning to play Viper can be tricky.

Viper is currently a meta-agent, but you need a good team around her to really see the benefits of her abilities. If you're planning solo queues, the Viper might not be for you, unless you know all the best line ups, of course.

KILLJOY

Killjoy had a strong start to life in Valorant, debuting at Tier 1. However, Reyna had a similarly successful debut before the adversary discovered some pretty far-reaching strategies to stop her.

That said, Killjoy seems to bring more to the table than Reyna, and will likely remain in Tier 2 for a while barring a sudden meta change or another big nerf.

His ability to distract opponents with turrets while planting the bomb has been deadly so far. Her loadout is unique and powerful, which makes her a great agent for any squad.

Oh, and you can finally get your nanowarms now, winner winner.

PHOENIX

Phoenix is ‚Äč‚Äčone of the most self-sufficient agents on the list. He is a brash Londoner (literally) who controls various flame abilities.

As a Viper, he can put up a wall that blocks enemies' lines of sight, and like Brimstone, he has a Molotov. While these abilities hurt other players, they also heal Phoenix. Its final Run It Back means the Operator can run, hopefully, take down one or two Operators, before being teleported back to the start of the ultimate with all their health restored. This makes it a great skill for aggressive players with little risk involved.

Mix it all together and Phoenix will be a good team player, as long as it's used the right way, of course.

With his forgiving dueling potential, Phoenix cemented his place on Level 2, sitting just behind the supermobile Jett.

OMEN

If you like your Overwatch, then you probably already know Omen's abilities pretty well. The agent, who looks suspiciously like Blizzard's Reaper, has teleportation abilities. He can be anywhere and everywhere and, if played well, can be a deadly agent against a well-organized team.

Omen has powerful abilities, but being unpredictable is key. Well-versed players will know standard Omen plays, so if you want to get the upper hand on enemy teams, you have to get creative. His smoke is useful and his paranoia ability is great for blinding enemies hiding around the corner. If you're new to the game, Omen is a really fun agent to try out.

Omen is a defensive powerhouse, but not as good as Astra. On offense, he's great at forcing the enemy into position, but he needs a good squad around him.

LEVEL 3

CYPHER

Cypher has suffered nerfs to its cameras and its tripwires in recent patches, and since then its pick rate has dropped. While he used to be one of the best intelligence-gathering agents in the game, his nerfs and recent meta changes have seriously affected his effectiveness.

Expect to see some buffs your way soon.

RAY

Valorant fans have complained about Raze's abilities being too focused on damage in the past, which is a step away from the game's philosophy that abilities are secondary to weapons. Since then, Riot Games has balanced it out a bit since launch, so it's not as powerful as it used to be.

As such, her pick rate has decreased very quickly and as she is not as mobile as Jett or Phoenix, she is not a favorite duelist in this patch. Still, she's not a bad choice, so if you like playing her, you do.

BRIMSTONE

Brimstone is deceptively useful on the battlefield. If you're familiar with Valorant, you know that many agents will have fumes, smoke-blocking orbs, or effects that prevent enemies from seeing your position. Sulfur in particular is useful because it falls directly from the sky. This may not seem important, but it means enemies have no way of knowing where Brimstone is placing them, so you can continue to hold your position and wait for them to push.

His latest, Orbital Strike, has more than one use as well. While it can be used to try and kill enemies, it is also very useful for negating plants and disarming. It's also very useful for avoiding rushes.

However, with competition from controllers like Astra and Omen, Brimstone has his work cut out to set the meta now.

QUEEN

Reyna was, at first, a little surprise to the players. The player base was just starting to settle into a routine, knowing what agents did what, and where they were best positioned, when suddenly this new agent arrived with new abilities. Players initially realized that she is a rather selfish agent with not much to offer when it comes to team play.

However, when the developers soon realized that she was a terrifying agent in both solo and professional play, she was destroyed. Now Reyna players have to decide when and where to use their charges to survive, and those life-or-death moments aren't nice to have in a ranked game.

BREACH

Breach is possibly one of the most complex agents in the game, so keep that in mind when playing as him. His abilities can often hurt teammates and spark arguments if used incorrectly. Without proper coordination, there are a number of things that can happen as a direct result of Breach's abilities.

As such, Breach is not a recommended choice for climbing stairs.

YORU

Yoru is a relatively new agent for Valorant, but despite that, his kit is really lacking. as a duelist, yoru doesn't offer much compared to someone like Phoenix and as such has a relatively low pick rate.

Yes, while he can be incredibly effective when his abilities are used correctly, his kit can be confusing and cause more problems than it solves. Also, as it's still very new, people are still figuring out where best to use their skills on different maps, and it's not good to experiment with this sort of thing in ranking.

LEVEL 4

SKYE

The construction of Skye it's good for gathering information, but only when you have a team that will act on that information. While her healing and flashes might be appealing to some players, she doesn't have much else going for her. She is also totally reliant on team play. While she's a great pick for five stacks and competitive play, she's less viable in solo queues.

As such, Skye is like Marmite, you either love her or hate her.

And that's it. If you're planning to make your way to Radiant em Valuing classified, so you will definitely need to familiarize yourself with different agents. Of course, the meta will change with each update, so be sure to check back here to see where the game's agents will position themselves in the future.
