Since Valorant's release, players have been forced to juggle their economy to try and grab the most powerful weapons while purchasing their abilities, but a total system rework could tip the balance in Episode 3.
the economy of Valuing has been a hot topic since the game's release. Many players believed that the cost of skills was too cheap compared to weapons.
That argument is being turned upside down, however. There are some serious changes to weapon prices coming to the Valorant episode 3 , and that will skew not just which weapons are meta, but how the game is played entirely.
The Op still remains the most expensive weapon in the game, but it doesn't break the bank the way it used to.
Half of Valorant's Weapons Get Price Cuts in Episode 3
Nine weapons – half of the arsenal available to Valorant players – are receiving huge price reductions to mark the start of Valorant Episode 3.
The Guardian (2.400 to 2.250) and Operator (5.000 to 4.700) are two of the biggest benefactors, putting them more within reach of players at key points in the game.
The Operator change itself means that players can now buy utility while wielding the great marksman in overtime. However, you won't get those Shields of Light, just a tad too expensive at 400 Creds.
The shopkeeper changed the price of his goods in Valorant Episode 3.
The changes to Stinger (1.100 to 950) and Marshal (1.000 to 950) will change how players approach eco rounds as well. It might not be much, but it adds up. The Stinger's former target not so long ago, and the price cut could bring it back to prominence.
Weapon price changes in Valorant offset nerfs to skill prices. Most agents are having their spell costs increased from 50 to 200 credits. The two changes will work in harmony to bring more gunplay and less utility to the meta.
