Riot Games will be officially stepping into the first-person shooter genre when Valorant hits the market later this year. This title is a character-based tactical FPS game where two teams of five compete to eliminate each other and be crowned victorious. Within the game, in addition to choosing his character, the player will also have a variety of weapons to buy in order to defeat his opponents. In this topic, we are going to talk about all the shotguns present in Valorant. Currently, the game has two different shotguns, one of which is the Bucky.

    Bucky Shotgun

The Bucky is a very cheap primary weapon. Costing just 900 credits, it's the cheapest weapon you can buy and equip as your primary firearm. This leaves a lot of room for you to buy your agent a shield or some skills which, depending on the agent you are playing, can be of greater importance to performing well in the round. Although Bucky has a very specific use, its low cost makes it quite attractive.

At close range, Bucky does an incredible amount of damage in a massive explosion. A successful hit will knock down any enemy. Each Bucky shot fires 15 projectiles. If your target is within eight meters of you, only half of those projectiles need to hit the enemy's body to guarantee a kill. However, you better hit your target when shooting. Bucky takes 1,1 seconds for you to take the next shot, giving your opponent plenty of time to respond if you miss.

As the numbers in the table show, Bucky's bullets quickly lose their power. After twelve meters away, the Bucky will have less than half its power.

Like all shotguns present in virtually all shooting games, the Bucky has a high bullet rate. You will be able to hit your target safely, dealing a lot of damage up to about eight meters. However, after that, you will already need to hit your target twice to kill them.

Using its default fire mode, Bucky becomes almost useless if the target is more than twenty meters away. The shrapnel you manage to hit just won't do enough damage. When using Bucky, it is recommended that the player shortens the distance as much as possible to kill his opponents.

Fortunately, if you're a long way from your opponents, you still have an option. Using the alternate fire mode, right-clicking, you fire the shell that holds the shrapnel. After about eight meters, the shell explodes and bullets fire with regularity. Essentially, you're increasing your accuracy by eight meters.
