    THE OPEN WORLD PIRATE GAME HAS BEEN POSTPONED BY FOUR CONSECUTIVE YEARS



    A Ubisoft once again postponed its open world pirate game, Skull & Bones .

    The publisher announced the delay on Tuesday as part of its most recent earnings results, confirming that the game is scheduled for release during its next fiscal year, starting in April 2022.

    Ubisoft said the current fiscal year ending March 31, 2022 will include the Far Cry 6 and Rainbow Six Quarantine releases until September 30 , And Riders republicThe division heartland e Roller Champions . “Skull and Bones will now be released in 2022-23,” he confirmed.

    “We believe strongly in the creative vision of the team and they have been given an increasingly ambitious mandate for the game,” he said. “The production led by [Ubisoft] Singapore has made good progress in the last 12 months and the promise is better than ever. The additional time will allow the team to fully deliver on its vision. ”

    The CEO Yves Guillemot also said: “The Singapore studio has long been developing a large part of the franchise Assassin's Creed , so it's a really good studio.

    “What we've been doing to make sure they can really come out strong with Skull & Bones is that we've increased the associated studios that are working with them right now so there's a good, big team working on the game and the last 12 months have been really good in terms of how things are going, so we're confident that they can really bring something really exceptional to the market. ”



    Duguet added: “Singapore has developed a unique experience in naval combat, contributing to the Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag."

    CONTINUES THE ORIGINAL STORY: Announced at E3 2017, Skull & Bones is the first title led by the Ubisoft studio in Singapore. It was originally scheduled for a late 2018 release, but has now been pushed back four years in a row.
