There is a huge collection of racing games and titles where you can get into a vehicle and roam freely. However, if you're looking for more specific style vehicles to compete in motorcycle racing championships, then you're in luck. In this list, we will highlight ten motorcycle video game titles that you can play on PC. These are some of the best games out there that are worth learning about and trying out in 2021.
The Crew 2
The Crew 2 is an overall very fun racing game from Ubisoft and it's not necessarily all about motorcycling. Instead, Ubisoft made a game where they took the United States and scaled it down to a full racing video game experience. As a result, players are racing across different terrains and reaching various iconic locations across the country. You can reach the densely forested areas of a big city just by driving.
As mentioned, the game features more than just motorcycles, as players can quickly move from a car to a plane, boat, or motorcycle. It's all about experiencing how you'd like to race through the area. While there are many races you can take part in, a good part of the game consists of traveling freely and seeing the different areas that appear. This game was made available in 2018, so there's no news if we'll see a successor, but in the meantime, you can still have some fun with this edition of the game right now.
Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame 4
The Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame series has been around for quite some time now and we currently have the fourth mainline release. This game comes from the Milestone srl development team, which we will cover more games of this later in the list. With that said, this is another simulation-style racing game based on the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship. You will have a career mode where you will try to adjust to outperform the competition.
There are a total of eleven stadiums and seventeen tracks to go through. Likewise, you'll find over a hundred different brands represented here, which again you can customize your motorcycle and try to turn your rookie status into a pro rider. The last game in the series was released in March 2021, so there should be some tweaks. With that being said, there are previous games readily available for players to pick up as well, which have been well received.
Road Rash was a pretty iconic racing game back in the day. It is an arcade racing game where players race along the road on their motorcycles against the competition. However, what sets this game apart from others is the fact that players are given weapons or the ability to punch and kick their opponents. This series of games has forced players to fend off AI competitors or try to take them down as you fight your way to first place.
Now, years later, we have a spiritual successor with Road Redemption. The game offered the same general gaming experience but made for the modern platform. After getting funding for your campaign through Kickstarter, the developers were able to release this game in 2017, where again you race on the road on your motorcycle. In the meantime, you will have the ability to use a wide range of weapons, from batons to shotguns. Just remember to avoid the police who will be looking to stop this race and put an end to the madness.
Grand Theft Auto V
Grand Theft Auto V isn't just about motorcycles or racing. This giant game launched in 2013 and continues to be very relevant today, all these years later. Rockstar Games outdid themselves in developing the latest episode of Grand Theft Auto, and while there are now memes about how long we're stuck in this game, fans can still find it a lot of fun. There is a gripping story based on three criminals working to live a life of crime and coming out clean, along with a huge open world map for players to freely explore or create mayhem.
We also can't forget to mention that Rockstar Games also released an online component that was a money making machine for the IP. Anyway, the reason we have this game on the list is the fact that you can ride a motorcycle in this game world. There are a wide variety of different motorcycles available offline in the single-player campaign world, along with the Grand Theft Auto Online experience. Meanwhile, players can participate in different impromptu races with friends online for real racing events.
TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 2
If you're a fan of real motorcycle racing events, then you should already be well acquainted with the TT Isle of Man. This is a real event that has skilled competitors from all over the world taking part to tackle Snaefell Mountain, a course you can now easily watch via countless YouTube videos. The course is also extremely dangerous and there have been more than a few accidents that have happened here.Read also

With a ton of hairpin turns, narrow roads, this is just one path riders should be extremely cautious about as they race. TT Isle of Man was a popular game, but TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 2 extends the gaming experience. Once again, this game features many courses and motorcycles to race. You'll want to go through different courses before trying these more difficult locations like Snaefell Mountain. That said, this game is worth checking out if you haven't already.
MX VS ATV Reflex
The MX VS ATV series didn't see every game make it to the PC platform, but one of the biggest hits they managed to release on PC was MX VS ATV Reflex. This game was released in 2010 for PC and was generally well received. As the name suggests, the game is based around different motorcycles and ATVs with a ton of offroad racing.
You will have to make your way through rivers, swampy lands and sand dunes. There's a good mix of different courses to go through, but during these runs, you can try performing some freestyle tricks while you're in the air. Of course, you will also be able to adjust your vehicle to use it in competition.
Sony has quite a large collection of exclusive video game titles that for years were only available on Sony's console platforms or their small series of handheld devices. However, things have started to change recently and Sony has started to open up its lineup of exclusives to the PC platform, starting with Horizon Zero Dawn and more recently releasing Days Gone. This was a title that was first released in 2019 for PlayStation 4 and brought a survival horror experience. In this game, we are thrown into the world in a zombie apocalypse with humanity splitting into small factions.
This is where we're thrown into the role of Deacon St. John, a former outlaw biker who lost his wife during the apocalypse. Now acting like a bum to his friend, Deacon spends most of his days doing odd jobs for nearby faction locations to earn some goods. However, our protagonist is hopeful of finding evidence to piece together what happened to his wife so many years ago. Being a motorcyclist, players will mostly travel around this world on a motorcycle that you can upgrade as you progress through the game. However, there is a real need for gasoline and to ensure that your motorcycle is fueled for the journey ahead.
The Ride series is another very popular one for those who want motorcycle racing game experiences. Currently, the latest release to hit the market is Ride 4, which comes from Milestone srl, a development studio known for delivering some very popular racing video games in the past. Ride 4 is a motorcycle racing simulation game where you have to change your body weight to make turns.
Ride 4 certainly has a bit of a learning curve to overcome, but again the Ride series has gained a following, so if you haven't given games a chance in the past, you'll find that Ride 4 will be readily available to players right now. Upon release in 2020, you will find that this game will be supported for quite some time. DLC has been released to give players more content to enjoy, although this game already has a pretty compact gaming experience with the track and motorcycle lineup.
Much like the Ride series, you will find that developer Milestone srl was responsible for MotoGP 21. This is another simulation racing game where players are going through the 2021 MotoGP season while taking part in a variety of races. Again, this being a simulation game, you'll find that there's a lot of focus on keeping control of different aspects of your motorcycle.
However, what matters is knowing the courses and ensuring that your bike's performance is capable of going through the races in a competitive way. It might not be a game for everyone, especially if you're after a more arcade-like experience, but those who find this game fun will find DLC to add content to the game or even earlier installments like MotoGP 20 to get through the previous season of races.
Trials games gained popularity after being started as a Java game. After the initial release in 2000, the game's IP became a major cross-platform console release with the latest installment being 2019's Trials Rising. We recommend trying this particular title if you haven't given this game a try in the past. Trials Rising is a racing game but also a 2.5D physics platformer. Over the course of the game, players are trying to maneuver their biker on various different courses.
This was our list of the best motorcycle racing games. Stay tuned on our website for more news and news about the world of games. Take care and until next time!
