Dark Envoy is about two brothers, Malakai and Kaela, children of war refugees. They must survive together surrounded by the chaos of war, living from day to day.

The story is told in a non-linear fashion and group-based combat allows players to combine magic and technology tactically to take down enemies.

Dark Envoy's story blends into its gameplay, as the narrative of the two-brother protagonist is combined with its two-player co-op mode. Whether it's in every scene in the trailer or seeing the duo fighting side by side with their magical abilities, the brothers are clearly very close.

With two-player co-op adventure games like the well-received  It Takes Two  taking off, Dark Envoy has the opportunity to be special for some team-oriented entertainment. The game can of course also be played alone, but the trailer does a good job of showing how the story itself connects to the idea of 鈥嬧媡he two characters working with each other.

Dark Envoy is planned to be released in 2022 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | s
