Now officially four years since its launch in 2017, the Nintendo Switch continues to be a strong seller in its biggest market, the United States. Not only has the system been a success for basically its entire lifespan so far, but it also continues to top the charts. The NPD report for March this year proves that this feat doesn't seem to be going away for the little hybrid.
Mat Piscatella, a leading figure in the NPD, recently posted statistics from the March 2021 NPD report showing just how healthy Switch is performing these days. The report reveals that Nintendo's hybrid was the top selling system in terms of units and dollars in March. Piscatella also mentioned that “In Q5, Nintendo Switch was the leader in unit sales, while PlayStation XNUMX ranked first in hardware dollar sales.”
