Sony can be configured to include film and television content in subscriptions to the PlayStation Plus, according to images posted on its website on Wednesday.
A logo for 'PlayStation Plus Video Pass' was posted on Sony's official website today, along with the following description on their Polish website (now removed):
“A new limited-time benefit available on PlayStation Plus… PS Plus Video Pass is an active trial service from 22.04.21/22.04.22/XNUMX to XNUMX/XNUMX/XNUMX. Subscription benefit is available to PS Plus users at Polônia. "

Last month, Sony announced that the PlayStation Store would stop offering TV and movie content for purchase or rent later this year.
As of August 31, 2021, video content will no longer be available in the digital store, the company said. However, existing purchases will still be available for access.
It may be that the platform holder is looking to increase the value of its paid subscription service, amid strong competition from Xbox Game Pass, launching some video offers on PS Plus.
Crucially, the three movies featured on the now-removed PlayStation.com website banner, Venom, Bloodshot e Zombieland, are all produced by Sony's own film company.
