While few things are more exciting in League of Legends than launching a new champion to crush your opponents in the Rift, relaunching one of LoL's oldest champions with a fresh coat of paint and a few new toys can often be just as tempting, We're Looking At You, a gruesome update from fiddlesticks.
On the subject of champion updates, it's been a while since we've heard from Riot about their latest reimagining of a classic champion in the form of Dr. World.
The champion visual and gameplay update has been in the works for a solid year, with the latest update to its status, which featured new concept art and updated animations, coming back in January.
Well Riot now he broke the silence, revealing all the details of Mundo's rework. The rework of Dr. Mundo is set for release on League of Legends update 11.12 .
O Mad Man of Zaun has been gifted with a host of new and updated abilities to match his shiny new looks, all making the big purple guy even more fearsome than before.
While its (Q) Infect Bonesaw and (R) Maximum Dosage work similarly to its previous iterations, Mundo's (P) Goes Where He Loves, (W) Heart Zapper, and (E) Blunt Force Trauma inject new life into the kit. champion.
Mundo's passivity now causes him to resist the next immobilizer effect that hits him after a period of time, albeit at the cost of his current health. When hit, he drops a nearby chemical canister, restoring health to him and reducing the passive's cooldown when picked up.
Meanwhile, Heart Zapper causes Mundo to kill nearby enemies with magic damage for a few seconds, storing some of that damage as gray health. Similar to Sion's Soul Furnace (W), the skill ends with a burst of damage being dealt to nearby enemies, with Mundo healing his gray health.
Finally, Blunt Force Trauma works similarly to the now removed Masochism, but with a twist. Like Sion's (E) Roar of the Slayer, it features a knockback effect that damages enemies in its path, though it only triggers if Mundo kills the target.Read also
