KRAFTON Inc., creators of PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS (PUBG), announces details of the game's next main competition, PUBG Continental Series 4 (PCS4), which consists of four regional tournaments, in the Americas, Asia, Asia-Pacific and in Europe.
Sixteen teams in each region will compete for a prize pool of $250, totaling $1 million at PCS4.
Each region will have its own ranking system to determine the teams that will be eligible to compete in the PCS4 Grand Final. Here are the details of the Americas event:
Open selective - May 5th to 12th, 2021
Latin America and North America will have separate open tryouts, each with three rounds. The top 8 from each qualifier will advance to the respective sub-regional Group Stage.
Group Stage - May 14th to 20th, 2021
Latin America and North America will have separate Group Stages. Each Group Stage will feature the participation of the eight teams ranked through the open qualifiers and the top 16 teams from the ESL PUBG Masters sub-regional Group Stage: Stage 1, vying for $25. The top 6 from each sub-regional Group Stage will advance to the PCS4 Americas Grand Final. The teams that finish the Group Stage between the 7th and 14th places will go to the PCS4 Americas Last Chance Qualifier.
Last Chance Qualifier – May 22 and 23, 2021
Teams between 7th and 14th in the sub-regional Group Stages, totaling 16 participants, will face off in the Last Chance Qualifier for US$20. The top 4 will qualify for the PCS4 Americas Grand Final.

PCS4 Grand Final Schedule
Once the open qualifiers and sub-regional Group Stages are completed, the PCS4 Grand Final will take place over the course of three weeks. The dates of each regional championship are as follows:
- Americas: June 10 and 11, June 17 and 18, June 24 and 25
- Asia Pacific: June 10 and 11, June 17 and 18, June 24 and 25
- Europe: June 12 and 13, June 19 and 20, June 26 and 27
- Asia: June 12 and 13, June 19 and 20, June 26 and 27
Crowdfunding for the award
The Pool Challenge is back in PUBG Continental Series 4, giving fans the opportunity to earn in-game rewards for correctly predicting the results of each regional tournament. In a similar format to the last Pool Challenge, fans will need coupons to vote for the outcome they believe is most likely.
Coupons can be obtained by purchasing PCS4 themed items or watching competition broadcasts. At least 30% of the revenue generated from the sale of PCS4 items will be added to the total prize pool.
