Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart the new lombax finally has a name, and it's Rivet.
A new gameplay trailer for Rift Apart has just been released and has finally confirmed the identity of the franchise's new lombax.
The long-awaited release date Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is approaching, and an all-new gameplay trailer for the sequel has arrived.
The franchise's heroes are sucked into an alternate dimension by the Doctor Nefarious, who is worryingly known as Emperor Nefarious in the alternate world in which Rift Apart will take place.
More exciting than Nefarious's new role is the first proper introduction to the new Lombax that the trailer offers fans.
Lovers of Ratchet and Clank have been asking all sorts of questions about the new character since she was revealed, especially since Insomniac didn't reveal much about her. Most important of all, fans are dying to know her name.Read also

Well, the guessing game that has been going on for months may finally come to an end. As revealed in the trailer above, the gray lombax is called Rivet, in keeping with the theme of the names of the other two main characters.
Some people managed to guess the name correctly months ago, well done to you if you got it right as far as Rivet is concerned.
The trailer shows Ratchet and Clank splitting up, and the latter jumping on the back of the Rivet instead of his trusty Lombax friend.
It looks like, for the most part at least, Rivet and Clank will be tasked with taking down Nefarious while Ratchet tries to reunite with Clank and his new riding mate.
Also, Nefarious seems to be getting ready to use a weapon called The Dimensionator, a serious step up from the already terrifying Deplanetizer that needed to be stopped in the 2016 game.
A PlayStation and Insomniac have done an excellent job of publicizing the franchise ahead of the release of Rift Apart in June.
Ratchet and Clank marked the return of the initiative PlayStation Play At Home in March, allowing anyone with a PS4 and an internet connection to play it for free. It also gave the 2016 title a PS5 update soon after.
