A new sci-fi open-world game appears to be in development by PUBG Corp.
We may be getting a brand new game from the Battlegrounds developers of PlayerUnknown, and it doesn't look like a Battle Royale.
If you currently don't know what's going on in the world of PUBG, you really can't be blamed because it's very, very confusing as well.
PUBG recently announced New State, a new version of the hugely popular PUBG Mobile. Additionally, rumors have also hinted at a full-fledged PUBG sequel. Add to all this the latest news.
PlayerIGN added that Vertical will be an open-world sci-fi shooter running on a pre-built Unreal 4 Engine.
They also estimated that the game should be ready for release in a year or two.

However, looking at the universe together Call of Duty da Activision that connects Warzone, Zombies and Modern Warfare, it wouldn't be out of the question for PUBG to try something similar.
On the one hand, we will have the traditional battle royale, mixed with the Vertical project, which can be a single player or multiplayer PvE experience.
“Since Vertical Project is done by PUBG Studio and in Korea, I can't see this as not being part of PUBG,” PlayerIGN added.
While the Vertical project might take a while, you can dive into PUBG's April Fools game mode, which has been extended by popular demand.
Titled POBG, this minigame can be found in the main menu and you'll face off against killer chickens in a top-down shooter.
PUBG recently announced a Reddit integration that will allow you to link your game account to your Reddit account.
This integration will show you your platform of choice and domain level, while also giving you a “really cool PUBG trophy” to display.
