Here's everything you need to know about Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Pokémon Legends: Arceus is an exciting extension of the Pokémon concept coming to Nintendo Switch in 2022. Promising players a completely open world in which they can roam freely with their Pokémon, Legends: Arceus appears to take the Wild Area concept from Pokémon Sword and Shield and fold down.

The game is confirmed to be set in the Sinnoh region, the same region where Pok√©mon Diamond and Pearl are set.

However, Pokemon Legends: Arceus takes place in ‚Äúan ancient era‚ÄĚ, which seems to draw inspiration from feudal Japan or the medieval setting. With the Pok√©mon circulating as they wish and the player playing PokeBalls 'old-time' wooden game in the overworld, the game will be at the forefront of a new experimental generation of Pok√©mon games.

If you want to discover the Arceu release dates, starter pokemon or anything else about the next adventure, you are in the right place. We'll keep this guide updated with news, trailers, and all the latest details about the game, so check back again to make sure you're up to date.

Here's everything we know about Pokemon Legends: Arceus yet:

    POK√ČMON LEGENDS: ARCEUS RELEASE DATE

Pok√©mon Legends: Arceus is released on January 28, 2022 , do not Nintendo Switch.

We'll likely find out about potential pre-order bonuses or special editions closer, so keep an eye out for announcements on those fronts.

    POKEMON LEGENDS: ARCEUS TRAILER

You can watch the trailer for Pokémon Legends: Arceus here:

Everything from the landscape to the soundtrack brings immediate comparisons with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and to be honest, we would be very happy if Pokemon Legends: Arceus was released as well as the latest episode of Zelda.

However, with an old world feel and a mystery surrounding Arceus at the center of the story, this feels a lot like a Pokémon adventure. It has the potential to open up the lore of the Pokémon world as we know it, and millions of players are eager to delve into the tall grass of feudal Sinnoh.

While it might seem like an odd selection, especially since none of these starter Pokémon are native to Sinnoh, we're sure the game will explain why this trio was chosen. Perhaps Pokémon teachers are starting to discover and visit other regions? Maybe pre-Diamond and Pearl Sinnoh were home to more Pokémon and a cataclysmic event wiped them out?

The assumption is fun, but we'll have to wait until January to be sure.

    POK√ČMON LEGENDS: ARCEUS PRICE

Pokemon Legends: Arceus will cost $ 59,99 (R$ 319,88) at launch.

    WHO IS ARCEUS, AFTER ALL?

Arceus is the creator of all Pokémon and "shaped everything that exists in this world". Legends suggest that he was born from an egg out of nothing and that he existed before anything else in the universe.

In the game, Arceus is a Legendary Normal-type Pokémon whose typing changes depending on which 'Plate' item it contains. The genderless god can change into any of 18 types, making him a powerful attacker for any trainer who manages to tame him.

No one is quite sure how this lore works in regards to Mew, which is known as the first Pokémon, but that's the problem with legends - they get twisted and distorted over the years.

We hope that Pokemon Legends: Arceus can prove (or disprove) some theories and shed new light on Pokémon as we know it.
