We are close to a new operation in Rainbow Six Siege and Ubisoft confirmed that it will be called Northstar. This operation will be the second of the sixth year of the game, and we will have many new changes and reworks.
As confirmed by the year six roadmap, the Operation North Star will have a new operator of the Nakoda Nations, an indigenous people in western Canada.
The operation will also feature the long-awaited Favela rework, which many hope will help the map become viable in-game. Rainbow Six Siege ranked . Several major game changes are expected here, including updates to Siege's streaming mode.
While we are still waiting for official confirmation on what Northstar will contain, many leaks of Siege are working hard and many believe they have already discovered the secrets of this long-awaited season.

A Rainbow Six Siege North Star release date is planned for early June . As seasons usually last around three months, Crimson Heist should come to an end later this month.

OPERADOR RAINBOW SIX SIEGE NORTH STAR: THUNDERBIRD
We know from the year six roadmap that the operator of the North Star comes from Nakoda Nations, but we don't know much more than that.
The operation teaser features a bright orange helicopter (believed to be an air ambulance) with a person dangling from a rope, so it's safe to assume that the person in the orange jumpsuit is our new operator.
However, leaks suggest that the new operator of the Rainbow Six Siege é Thunderbird, a three-speed defender, which has a Spear .308, SPAS-15, Q0929, Bearing-9, One impact grenade e C4 at your disposal. They also apparently have a gadget called Kona Station that heals teammates.
We won't find out if this leak is accurate or not until the big reveal in Six Invitationals this weekend.
RAINBOW SIX SIEGE NORTHERN STAR MAP REWORK: FAVELA
Slum It's not exactly the Siege community's favorite map. The casual map is littered with destructible walls and tight choke points, making it too unbalanced to play ranked. However, this new rework could change that, making Favela viable to play.
We are yet to see what map designers at Ubisoft did with the map, but based on previous reworks, we should be in for a surprise.
