Robocop: Rogue City is a new Robocop game, expected to come to consoles and PCs in 2023
And are we excited about it? A little. Don't get us wrong, we'd love a good Robocop game and the fact that it's being developed by Teyon, creators of Terminator: Resistance gives us hope that it's not downright abysmal.
Robocop: Rogue City was revealed as part of Nacon's "Nacon Connect" event, and will arrive in 2023. It will be set in the same universe as the original three Robocop movies, but will have an entirely new story, so OCP may well check it out. . You can almost guarantee that you'll end up fighting ED-209 at some point as well.Read also

Except, there's an inherent problem with making a "good" Robocop game unless you focus on making it 2D like the original arcade games. Robocop itself moves like a tank. Jumping is almost out of the question, and with those huge, clumsy feet, stealth is going to be a problem.
So how do you deal with health? You might have bullets eating away a tiny chunk or Robo's health, but then you might find yourself in the situation where you're wandering around with a chunk of health left. And when someone shows you the big guns, how are you supposed to dodge when you have all the maneuverability.
These are problems that we hope Teyon can solve. So far, all we've seen of the game is the teaser trailer above, but they've got two years to deliver something that can do the crime-fighting cyborg justice. That's more than enough time to think.
