While previously only available through Riot Games' own launcher, League of Legends has now moved to another platform, the Epic Games Store. The news comes as part of the studio's game-spanning celebrations of Netflix's upcoming spin-off show Arcane. So far, we've seen Riot's MOBA make its way to the studio's other games in the Runeterra universe, PUBG Mobile, and now Fortnite - which is where Epic Games comes in.

Fans can now access the PC version of League of Legends via the Epic Games Store, along with some of its sister games Teamfight Tactics, Legends of Runeterra and Valorant. It's still free to play, of course, and you can find it in the company store. The good news is that established League players will still be able to log into their regular accounts and access their existing friends list, according to Epic Games, so it looks like you won't have to start all over again with the new option.

“Riot Games is one of the best developers and creators of innovative entertainment franchises in the world,” said Epic Store Vice President and General Manager Steve Allison. “We are thrilled that they have chosen to partner with us to bring their titles to millions of new players through the Epic Games Store.”

The collaboration with Epic also sees the arrival of much-loved champion Jinx – one of the stars of the upcoming Netflix series – heading to Fortnite. It arrives in the battle royale in-game item shop later today. There will be her outfit, plus Jinx's Dream Monkey bling, a Pow Pow Crusher pickaxe, and other show-inspired pieces available. You can check out the full details in the video below.

There are plenty of other things to enjoy in League of Legends itself to celebrate the new Netflix show as well, like new themed skins for Jayce, Vi, Jinx, and Caitlyn, Arcane-inspired map details across all League maps, and more. Check out the League of Legends 11.23 patch notes to see what's on the way.

Arcane arrives on Netflix on November 6th.
