    Follow these steps to configure the Nintendo Switch OLED.

    The setup process can be completed using the Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons or the touchscreen. These instructions assume the use of the touchscreen, but the switch will always show the Joy-Con button that you must press to select an option.

    1. Press the power button located on the top left panel of the Nintendo Switch OLED.
    2. A short intro video will play followed by a language selection screen. Select your preferred language and tap Ok .
    3. The Region screen will appear. Select your region and tap Ok .Some games may be region locked and will not work outside of your region, so be careful when selecting the correct region.
    4. The End User License Agreement will appear. Tap the checkbox next to Accept and select Advance .
    5. Now you will select a Wi-Fi network. Find the network you want to use and tap to select it. A password prompt will appear. Enter the network password and tap OK . The OLED Switch will display an animation while connecting. You can tap Later to skip this step. This will prevent you from adding a Nintendo Network ID during setup. You can connect to a network and add a Nintendo Network ID after setup in the menu Settings console .
    6. The time zone selection will appear. Select your time zone and tap Ok .
    7. You will now have the option to connect to a TV. This is optional and this guide will focus on portable mode. select more afternoon .select connect to TV if you want to set up a TV now. The on-screen instructions will guide you through setting up the dock and placing the OLED Switch in it.
    8. The next screen will ask you to disconnect the Joy-Cons. Do this and select Advance .
    9. Setup will show you how to use the OLED Switch with Joy-Cons connected or with Joy-Cons disconnected and the stand in use. select Ok to continue.
    10. The Add User screen will be displayed. tap on Advance .
    11. You have the option to create a new user or import user data from another Switch console. This guide will assume you are creating a new user, so select Create New User .You can import saved data later in the menu settings do  work . 
    12. The next screen will allow you to select a user icon. Choose what you like best and tap OK .
    13. You will be prompted for a username. Enter your preferred name and select OK .
    14. A confirmation screen will show the icon and username. tap on Ok to continue.
    15. The next screen will ask if you have signed in to a Nintendo Account. select Link a Nintendo Account to add your user information or tap Later to jump .You can add a Nintendo Network ID later in the menu Settings console .
    16. You can now add more users if you wish. Tap Add Another User to repeat steps 12-15 in this guide. Otherwise, select Disregard .
    17. An announcement for Nintendo's Switch Online service will appear. The Switch Online service adds support for cloud saves and access to a library of NES and SNES games, among other features. The service charges an annual subscription fee. Select it if you want to subscribe. Otherwise, tap Advance to continue.
    18. The next screen will allow you to configure the Parental Controls features. select Configure Parental Controls to add them or tap Skip to continue the setup. You can add Parental Controls later in the menu settings do System .
    19. That's it! Press the button Home on the Joy-Con to open Home and exit setup.

    Finishing the OLED Switch Setup

    Several steps in this guide, such as setting up a TV or adding parental controls, are optional. You can return to these options after setup in the menu settings do  work .

    • Is the Nintendo OLED switch worth it? If you often play games with the switch attached to a TV, the OLED switch isn't worth upgrading. Compared to the original model, the Switch OLED has a better screen, better speakers, and better support. Otherwise, it is identical to the original model.
    • How do I connect my switch to my OLED TV? To connect your Nintendo Switch to the TV, open the back cover of the Nintendo Switch dock to find the HDMI port and insert one end of the HDMI cable. Connect the other end of the cable to the TV's HDMI port and turn on both devices.
    • Does Nintendo Switch OLED support 4K?No. The OLED Switch outputs 1080p resolution video, just like the original model.
