Slots for three new NPCs have appeared in Fortnite's Character Collection menu, and this guide details who they are and where they are.
The new 17.30 update has arrived in Fortnite, and it makes a number of changes to Epic Games' battle royale feel. One of the changes players may notice is that three new slots have been added to the Character Collection menu. These slots are dedicated to NPCs 20, 21, and 22, and indeed, some Fortnite fans might be curious about exactly who these new characters are and where they are located.
To begin with, it is very important to clarify that these NPCs are not appearing on the Fortnite map at the time of writing this article. This is believed to change with the release of the Superman challenges, and they are expected to arrive between Tuesday, August 10th and Thursday, August 12th. This prediction is based on the fact that one of the leaked Superman challenges revolves around completing quests for NPCs 20, 21, and 22, and players are therefore advised to return to this guide when the content becomes available.Read also

With that established, the three new NPCs in Fortnite Season 7 will be Clark Kent, Armored Batman Zero, and Beast Boy, and there are small screenshots of all of them in the Tweets that are found below. These characters will be situated in Orchard, Dirty Docks and Weeping Woods respectively and should be pretty easy to track down as a result. The only NPC that can cause some problems for players is Clark Kent, as the Orchard is not directly noticed on the map, but he can be found north of Corny Complex.
To note, the 17.30 update also made some changes to some characters that were already in the game. More specifically, NPC 18, Zyg and Choppy, has been relocated to the area southwest of Pleasant Park. Also, NPC 6, Bushranger, was turned into a tree, but he still remains very close to Risky Reels. While Fortnite players who have already unlocked these NPCs in the Character Collection menu will likely not need to visit them again, these details could be relevant to a challenge in the future.
This latest update is certainly not just about NPCs, as it has also added two new pieces of alien technology to the title. These are Fortnite's Prop-ifier and Grab-itron, and players can pick them up from an Infiltrator. For clarity, Infiltrators are characters that have randomly become aliens during a match, and fans can easily identify them due to their distorted appearance.
