the seventh week of Fortnite of your alien invasion themed season is here. One of these tasks this week requires players to build a hatchery out of wood.
The ever-popular Battle Royale title from epic Games It's almost halfway through Chapter 7 Season 2. The free-to-play game has just received something of a mid-season update with Fortnite version 17.40, which adds the highly-requested Preferred Item Slot Arrangement system. How to Build a Wooden Hatchery in Fortnite
The first stage of Fortnite's Week 7 Legendary Quest challenges players to build a wooden hatchery in one of several available locations around the island. There are a total of three potential locations, and all are extremely far apart, so players can make the most sensible choice during the match.
The first is found in a shed on the island to the north, northwest of Craggy Cliffs, site of a future Legendary Quest stage. The next wood hatching location is on the larger island directly south of Slurpy Swamp, also in a shed. The third and final location is in a cabin on a cliff near the sea, directly east of Catty Corner.

Place Mats in the Match to Hatch
Fortnite is no stranger to missions where players must track one or more objects and interact with them. However, this one adds a little extra step. Players will be required to use 50 wood to successfully build a wooden hatchery.
While it's a fairly small amount, many quest seekers will be falling into the same areas, which means an immediate approach may also be contested. It might be worth it for the long game to land at the location farthest from the Battle Bus path, or even in an adjacent area to wait for the first wave of players to come and go.
Once players complete this stage, they will be rewarded with 45.000 XP and can move on to the next part of the quest, scoring an Alien Egg. Fortnite's alien invasion is undoubtedly in full swing.
Last week's missions saw IO, or at least the island's residents, take the fight to the extraterrestrials with missions like destroying alien trees and kidnapper equipment. However, it appears their efforts have had little impact, with the Week 7 main quest indicating that more aliens may soon appear on the map.
Now, in the second half of the current season, players must make sure to complete as many missions as they can to unlock all Battle Pass rewards. With Fortnite Season 7 set to end in just a few weeks, time is certainly of the essence.
