A Football Manager 2021 player simulated 25 years of the Premier League without European Super League clubs.

Thank God the European Super League suddenly stopped. The division of the league by some of Europe's top football clubs would have changed competitive sport as we know it, and may even have seen them abandon their respective national leagues.

Who knows how things would have turned out if the ESL was really created? A Football Manager 2021 player decided to see what the Premier League would look like in the next 25 years without the “best six” clubs in the league, that includes Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal e Tottenham.

the redditor FlyingPingoo manually removed the six Premier League clubs from Football Manager 2021 and simulated the next 25 seasons; the results are quite interesting.

O Everton was crowned league champion in the 20/21 season, which is not far off, as the team currently occupies the eighth position in the league table. PL in real life.

The club goes on to lead the 2023 and 2025 leagues as well, with Wolves e Aston Villa winning the top spots in 2022 and 2024, respectively.

O Leicester wins in season 25/26, after which the championship is dominated by a new overlord. O Southampton continues in a sequence of three years of victories, interrupted by the Leeds, only to win three times in a row once again.

Leicester are back, winning 33/34 and 34/35, followed by what is definitely a record eight straight titles for Southampton.

Leicester managed to break the streak at 43/44, but Southampton managed to win the title once again the following season, followed by what is probably a miracle title for Norwich

The club definitely became a superpower in the absence of the first six traditional clubs. O Southampton likely hopes to repeat this form soon, as the club currently sits fourteenth in the real league leaderboard with four defeats in their last five games.

They did the same with the UEFA Champions League, dominated by clubs, Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich e PSG.

Those interested in ESL really tried to push this breakaway league as something that would be good for everyone in terms of entertainment and finance.

In fact, the format would have seen a lot of wealthy clubs playing the game without any worries of being relegated. Juventus coach, Andrea Agnelli, went so far as to compare the ESL com FIFA, Call of Duty and Fortnite.
