Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster: Games Start Launching in July

It looks like you don't have to wait long if you enjoy playing Square Enix's Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster games for a nostalgia hit. In a now-removed intro video, the publisher revealed that the remastered Final Fantasy game series will begin releasing in July. We don't have a more specific date than that, but there are only a few days left for the new month.

While the video was removed, people took note of the details in Resetera, while Gematsu incorporated a new trailer for the clip. The 30-minute presentation features Final Fantasy series creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, composer Nobuo Uematsu, and Square Enix veteran Yoshinori Kitase. You like to reminisce about behind-the-scenes stories and get a peek at what happened in the remaster of new games. Things end with a trailer that confirms the release plans.

The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series includes individual re-releases of Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy II, Final Fantasy III, Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy V, and Final Fantasy VI. You're also getting revamped pixel art characters from Square Enix pixel artist Kazuko Shibuya, who's been around since the first game.
