A new document reveals that the epic Games tried to get exclusive items from PlayStation para a Epic Games Store.

We got tons of insider news thanks to the court case Apple round. Epic In progress. Several documents with unknown information surfaced during the trial process, and this last one may be one of the biggest. It seems that the epic Games was trying to guarantee exclusivity of the PlayStation para a Epic Games Store.

As pointed out by PC Gamer , this latest document details a proposal that would make Sony's original games, which are only available on PlayStation consoles, make their way to the Epic Games Store for PC.

The document says: “Offer extended to US $ 200 million + MG for 4 to 6 titles”. There was no word on which titles would be part of the deal, but it's doubtful Sony would go along with its latest games. If we had to guess, it would likely involve some of the older PS4 exclusives.

However, the next pointer says “waiting for feedback”, which means this conversation may not even have continued.

But that is not all; the document suggests that Epic Games has also approached Microsoft and Nintendo with a similar proposal. While Nintendo was a complete “non-starter”, Epic started conversations with Microsoft.

However, Microsoft internal feedback notes that the Xbox Game Pass for PC would be a competitor to what Epic hopes to achieve, and that the two companies are effectively vying for each other's content.

The latest indication in the Microsoft thread notes that the Xbox boss, Phil Spencer, met with Valve boss Gabe Newell for discussions of an undisclosed nature.

Sony exclusives have come to PC before. Ready Set Heroes e Predator: Hunting Grounds were released exclusively on the Epic Games Store, while Horizon: Zero Dawn came to Epic e Steam also. There's also the upcoming PC release of Days Gone.

Another document that was discovered as a result of the lawsuit revealed that Microsoft will move to an 88/12 revenue split for games sold on consoles. Xbox during the first half of 2021; the change should start in June.

It seems the company came to this conclusion very recently, as a spokesperson for Microsoft told The Verge: “We have no plans to change the revenue split for console games at this time.”
