Stage 1: Solo Game (6/3 – 6/27)
Players can compete in Stage 1 by accessing the World Championship 2021 in the ranked multiplayer lobby and accepting the official rules. You will then be able to register for the 2021 World Championship and start earning tournament points.
The higher your current rank, the more individual victory points you'll get when playing ranked multiplayer matches.
Competitors who earn 60 points during any of the four eligible weekends will advance to Stage 2 and move closer to qualification for a chance to win a share of the prize pool. $ 2.000.000.
Stage 2: Team Play (01/07 – 11/07)
A message in the game's inbox will alert players who have qualified for Stage 2 with their performance in Stage 1 that they have qualified to move on. These eligible players must create or join a team of 5 or 6 qualified players for Phase 2. This will be your team for the entirety of Phase 2.
Each team will play up to 30 ranked matches and each win will earn you points based on your team's average player rating. Teams will then have to place in the top 256 finishers in their respective regions to qualify for Stage 3 of the event.
Official information for Stage 3 of the event has not yet been released. We will update this piece with the Stage 3 schedule and format when it is officially revealed to the community.
