🕹Builds And Runes: Tristana Champion's Guide

Tristana is a champion marksman. Tristana is a hypercarry, meaning the more powerful the champion becomes as the game goes on. Tristana has a mechanic that allows her to take down turrets quickly, in addition to being able to deal a good amount of damage in an area. In addition, she has a jumping ability that allows her to run away or get closer to her opponents when necessary. Typically, this champion is seen in the bot lane, in the marksman role. She can also be seen in mid lane.

Champion Description

“While many other yordles focus their energy on discoveries, inventions, or simply mischief, Tristana has always been inspired by the adventures of great warriors. She'd heard a lot about Runeterra, its factions and its wars, and believed that her race too could become legends. Stepping into the world for the first time, she took up her trusty cannon, Boomer, and now leaps into battle with unwavering courage and optimism.”

Tristana's abilities

(Passive) Sure Shot: Increases Tristana's Attack Range as she levels up.

(Q) Rapid Fire: Tristana fires quickly with her cannon, increasing her Attack Speed for a short time.

(W) Rocket Leap: Tristana dashes to the ground to launch herself at the target location, dealing damage and slowing the Movement Speed of units around her for a brief moment upon landing.

(E) Explosive Charge: When Tristana kills a unit, her projectiles explode with shrapnel, dealing damage to nearby enemies. This can be activated to place a bomb on an enemy target, which will explode after a short duration, dealing damage to units around it.

(R) Destruction Shot: Tristana loads a gigantic cannonball into her weapon and fires it at an enemy unit. This deals magic damage and knocks the target back. If the target is carrying an Explosive Charge bomb, the bomb's blast radius is doubled.

Tristana's Tips and Tricks

The (E) Explosive Charge skill can be used on enemy turrets to easily destroy them. Once in the turret, the charge blast radius is larger and allows opponents to be hit at the same time.
While under your turret, you can push your opponent under it by using (W) Rocket Leap behind him and use (R) Destroying Shot to throw him under the turret.
Your Accurate Shot skill (Passive) greatly increases your range, starting at level 13 you can hit a Baron Nashor or a Dragon while standing on the other side of the wall. Use this perk to stay safe in combat.
Your (W) Rocket Leap ability times out on every kill, assist, or when you explode (E) Explosive Charge at 4 charges.
