Leona is a tank champion. Leona possesses a great power of resistance and group control. Leona is very powerful both in the lane phase and in team fights, being able to both perform initiations on opposing targets and defend her allies from enemy attacks. Typically, this champion is used in Bot Lane.

Champion Description

“Imbued with the flames of the sun, Leona is a holy warrior of Solari who defends Mount Targon with her Zenith Blade and the Protection of Dawn. Her skin glows with solar fire as her eyes burn with the power of the celestial Aspect within her. Protected in golden armor and bearing the terrible burden of ancient knowledge, Leona brings light to some and death to others.”

Leona's Abilities

(Passive) Sunshine: Damage-dealing skills hit enemies with Sunshine for 1,5s. When allied champions damage these targets, Sunlight is consumed to deal bonus magic damage.

(Q) Protection of Dawn: Leona uses her shield to make her next basic attack, dealing bonus magic damage and stunning the target.

(W) Eclipse: Leona raises her shield to receive damage reduction, Armor, and Magic Resist. When the duration runs out, if there are enemies nearby, it will deal magic damage to them and extend the duration of the effect.

(E) Zenith Blade: Leona projects a solar image from her sword, dealing magic damage to all enemies in a row. When the image disappears, the last enemy champion to be hit is immobilized for a short period and Leona attacks him.

(R) Solar Flare: Leona summons a beam of solar energy from the sky, dealing damage to enemies in an area. Enemies in the center of the area are stunned, while enemies near the edge are slowed.
