🕹Builds And Runes: Graves Champion's Guide

Graves is a marksman champion, which has a slightly different mechanics from the other marksmen present in the game. Graves has a very low range compared to other marksmen, however, his basic attack deals AoE damage. This causes the champion to be unused in bot lane. Typically, this champion is used in the wild.

Champion Description

“Malcolm Graves, mercenary, gambler and bandit of repute, is a wanted man in every city and empire he has visited. Despite his quick temper, he has a strict sense of honor among criminals, usually enforced with the fire of his shotgun, Doom. In recent years, he has reconciled a troubled partnership with Twisted Fate, and together they have thrived once again in the turmoil of Bilgewater's criminal underworld."

Bass skills

(Passive) Nova Fate: Graves' shotgun carries up to two shells. After firing them, he needs to reload. Each attack makes multiple shots in a cone area. Hitting an enemy with more than one shot deals additional damage. These projectiles cannot pass through units.

(Q) End of the Line: Graves fires an explosive projectile that detonates after 2s, or 0,2s if it hits terrain.

(W) Smoke Screen: Graves fires a smoke bomb at the target area, creating a puff of smoke that reduces vision range. Enemies hit on initial impact take magic damage and have their Movement Speed reduced for a short time.

(E) Quick Draw: Graves dashes in a straight line, gaining bonus Armor for several seconds. If Graves charges towards an enemy champion, he gains two stacks of Indomitable Valor. Hitting enemies with basic attacks reduces this ability's cooldown and resets the resistance effect.

(R) Side Effect: Graves fires an explosive projectile that deals massive damage to the first champion it hits. After hitting a champion or reaching its maximum range, the projectile explodes, dealing damage in a cone.

Graves Tips and Tricks

The (Q) End of the Line skill returns directly to its starting point, if you throw it against a wall, use this mechanism as quickly as possible so that the opponent cannot dodge the spell sequence.
If used well, the (W) Smoke Screen skill blinds and prevents one or more players from following what happens during the team fight.
The (E) Quick Draw skill can allow you to jump over a wall, as can (R) Side Effect if you put your back against it.
