🕹Builds And Runes: Champion Thresh's Guide

Thresh is a support champion. His abilities grant the champion great crowd control potential, being very powerful in creating plays and also in defending their allies. In addition, he can reposition one of his allies with his flashlight, pulling him out of a dangerous situation, or bringing him closer to his opponents. Typically, this champion is used in the bot lane, in the support role.

Champion Description

“Sadistic and cunning, Thresh is an ambitious and relentless spirit of the Shadow Isles. He was once the keeper of countless arcane secrets, but eventually succumbed to powers greater than life and death. Now, Thresh lives tormenting and corrupting victims in a slow, painfully creative way. His targets suffer far beyond their mortal bodies as Thresh afflicts the very souls, trapping them in his cursed lantern to torture them for all eternity.”

Thresh Abilities

(Passive) Doom: Thresh can harvest the soul of enemies that die near him, permanently gaining Armor and Ability Power.

(Q) Sentence: Thresh traps an enemy in his chains and pulls them towards them. Activating this ability a second time pulls Thresh towards the enemy.

(W) Shadow Passage: Thresh throws a lantern that shields nearby friendly champions from damage. Allies can click the flashlight to advance towards Thresh.

(E) Skinning: Thresh's attacks are empowered, dealing more damage the longer he waits between attacks. Upon activating, Thresh drags his chain and pushes all enemies hit in the direction of the blow.

(R) The Box: A prison of walls that deal damage and Slow if broken.

NOTE: It is worth remembering that there are few matches in which support champions like Thresh manage to finish all their items. It is also important to point out that the support item is extremely important for the champion, and its evolution should not be sold in the store.

Thresh Tips and Tricks

Use (Q) Sentence right after a troop is downed to surprise your opponent, or wait to apply (E) Flay to more easily land your (Q) Sentence ability.
The (W) Shadow Passage skill is a good defensive spell, but also an offensive spell. In fact, you can use it on your carry to bring it closer after you hit (Q) Sentence, or even throw it on your jungler to make a gank easier.
The (E) Flay ability can nullify opposing champions' movement spells, such as tristana's leap.
