🕹Builds and Runes: Champion Shen's Guide

Shen is a tank champion. In addition to being able to take a lot of damage for his team, Shen is very powerful when it comes to protecting his allies. His abilities allow shen to taunt her enemies, as well as absorb enemy basic attacks without taking damage. In addition, his ultimate ability makes the champion have a strong global presence, being able to defend an ally from anywhere on the map. Typically, this champion is used in the top lane.

Champion Description

“For the stealthy Ionian warriors known as Kinkou, Shen, the Eye of Twilight, is a leader. He seeks to remain free from the confusion of emotions, prejudice or ego, walking the never-before-seen path of impartial judgment between the spirit realm and the physical world. Tasked with enforcing harmony between the two, Shen wields blades of steel and arcane energy against anyone who threatens the balance.”

Shen's abilities

(Passive) Ki Barrier: After casting an ability, Shen gains a shield. Affecting other shields reduces the cooldown of this effect.

(Q) Twilight Attack: Shen calls out his spirit sword to attack with it, dealing damage based on the target's maximum Health. Her attacks are drastically buffed if she collides with an enemy champion. All champions she collides with are slowed while evading Shen.

(W) Spirit Haven: Attacks that would hit Shen or her allies near her spirit sword are blocked.

(E) Shadow Dash: Shen dashes in one direction, taunting enemies along the way.

(R) Keep Together: Shen shields target friendly champion from incoming damage, then teleports to their location.

Shen's Tips and Tricks

The (W) Spirit Haven ability ignores the impact effects of a Basic Attack, such as the Golden Card from Twisted Fate.
You can cross some obstacles on the map with (E) Shadow Rush.
The (E) Shadow Rush skill can be countered by enemy knockouts or stuns.
You can use Flash to change the trajectory and/or range of (E) Shadow Rush to surprise your enemies. Must be used before the end of the skill animation.
The (R) Keep Together ability can be interrupted by enemy control. Try to anticipate its use and back away before channeling your spell.
Your spells reduce the cooldown of (Passive) Ki Barrier. Try to delay your spells to use your passive to the fullest.
