Aphelios is a champion a little different from the other champions present in League of Legends. Instead of improving their skills as they level up, the player increases the champion's stats. In addition, Aphelios has 5 different weapons, each with unique functions. Aphelios is usually seen working in the bot lane, in the marksman role.

    Champion Description

“Emerging from the moonlight shadow, weapons in hand, Aphelios slaughters the enemies of his faith in absolute silence, communicating only by the dexterity of his aim and the firing of each weapon. Although he lives under the influence of a poison that has silenced him, he is guided by his sister Alune, who inhabits a faraway shrine where she summons an arsenal of moonstone weapons to help him. As long as the moon shines in the sky, Aphelios will never be alone.”

    Aphelios abilities

(Passive) The Assassin and the Prophetess: Aphelios wields 5 Lunari Weapons created by his sister, Alune. He has access to two at the same time: a primary and a secondary. Each weapon has a unique basic attack and activated ability. Attacks and abilities consume a weapon's ammo. When he runs out of ammo, Aphelios discards the weapon and Alune summons the next one.

    (Q) Weapon Skills: Aphelios has 5 different abilities that activate based on his primary weapon: Calibrum (Rifle): Ranged shot that marks his target for a subsequent ranged shot. Severum (Pistol-Scythe): Dash quickly while attacking nearby enemies with both weapons. Gravitum (Cannon): Roots all enemies affected by this weapon's slowing. Infernum (Flamethrower): Blasts enemies in a cone and attacks them with your off-hand weapon. Crescendum (Chakram): Deploys a watchman that fires with your secondary weapon.

    (W) Fase: Aphelios swaps his primary weapon for his secondary weapon, replacing his basic attack and activated ability.

    (E) Weapons Ordinance System: Aphelios doesn't have a third skill. This space shows the next weapon that Alune will grant him. The order of weapons is fixed, but can vary throughout the game. When a weapon is out of ammo, it goes back to the end of the sequence.

    (R) Full Moon Vigil: Fires a concentrated blast of moonlight that explodes when hitting enemy champions. Applies the unique effect of Aphelios' main weapon.

It is worth remembering that the secondary runes can be changed depending on your opponents.

    Evolution of in-game skills

Aphelios, unlike the other champions present in the game, does not evolve his abilities, but his status. Below is how most players evolve their champion stats in-game.

    most used items

The items shown below are the ones most used by Aphelios players. It is worth remembering that some items can be changed according to opposing champions.

    Starting Items

    • Doran's Blade
    • potion of life

    End Items

    • Infinito tires
    • Berserker Greaves
    • Runaan Hurricane
    • ghost dancer
    • Thirsty for blood
    • Guardian angel

    Tips and Tricks from Aphelios

    • The cooldown of your ability (Q) Weapon Abilities is inherent to each weapon, so you can use it twice in a row with a different weapon, optimizing the champion's damage and possibilities.
    • Using the skill (Q) Weapon Skills consumes 10 bullets out of 50 present.
    • During the launching phase, it can be interesting to use Gravitum as a secondary weapon so you can control opponents if they try to go all-in. It's also a good way to track an all-in by one of your allies.
    • Runaan's Hurricane is Aphelios' best ally, don't be afraid to play it safe while you wait for him.
    • Each weapon has different gameplay, so don't hesitate to keep your favorite weapon in the secondary slot while waiting for a team fight.
    • Regardless of the weapon, when the R hits, an auto attack is always sent to the opponent.
    • R's range is extremely large, use this to your advantage to blow up an entire team without even being seen.
    • You cannot reset the Chakrams loss delay without attacking a champion, monster, or troop. With Crescendum, the bonus damage from Chakrams works on turrets, but does not refresh the bonus.
