If it's news to you that there's a flying mount in Biomutant , you are not alone. It is very possible to complete the game and never find out about Batnamnam anymore. Which is a shame, because Batnamnam is very cute and useful too.

DISCOVER how to unlock the flying mount in Biomutant here, as well as invoke it and fly it at any time.

HOW TO UNLOCK THE FLYING MOUNT IN BIOMUTANT

To unlock the flying mount in Biomutant, you need to complete Pebble's side quests. Pebble is a character you can find in Knack Hill. See the image below to see exactly where you can find Pebble.

Pebble will give you some quests that involve finding various climbing spots and zip lines around the map. After that, you'll get a final quest from him, which involves climbing a nearby mountain to a specific point.

It's a pretty simple process, just head up the mountain, look for the yellow climbing spots and follow them. At the top, you'll find a large bat-like creature. This is Batnamnam. Interact with Batnamnam and you will ride it.

HOW TO SUMMON AND FLY BATNAMNAM

The moment you interact with Batnamnam for the first time, you will unlock him as a possible mount. After that, you can use the assembly's radial menu at any time to invoke Batnamnam, just like any other assembly type.

Batnamnam it may be a winged mount, but it doesn't exactly fly, per se. Instead, it can glide over great distances, which gives it a similar function to the Automaton Airglider .

All you need to do to activate Batnamnam's fly/glide functionality is double jump while mounted. This will cause Batnamnam to spread its wings, allowing you to cover great distances if you do so from the top of an abrupt drop.
