    It is possible to do a full melee-build in Biomutant. Here are some of the best builds to use if you like melee combat.

    Employing a melee build in an open world RPG title is a very common choice. 



    After all, it's the easiest to master, and utilizing a hack-and-slash strategy in a game that scolds your players with multiple enemies at once is very effective. If the player prefers to wield melee weapons when playing RPGs, he will have a lot of fun playing  Biomutant .

    This game contains a myriad of amazing melee weapons that they can buy, earn as a reward, or personally craft. 

    With that in mind, the player can then start the game and keep a specific build in mind, centered around melee combat, so they can work their way through effectively. These builds are the best that players can follow for melee combat in  Biomutantes.

    7 | SENTINE HANDLE CRUSHING

    Crushing weapons in  Biomutant  have some of the highest base damage the game has to offer. The only thing is that they can also have low attack speeds. In order to use this weapon properly, the player will need to be more robust so that they can take damage without worrying while swinging around their heavy weapon.

    While the Hyla race is best suited to the Sentinel class, the player should opt for the Dumdon race for this build, as it has the highest initial melee damage bonus. The player must maintain a fair distribution of points between Vitality and Strength to bolster both offense and defense.



    6 | DOUBLE HANDLE SABOTTER

    The Dual Wield Saboteur build is for players who like the fluidity of wielding two melee weapons at the same time. While this build inflicts the most base damage, the end result will remain similar considering how many attacks the player can inflict in a short amount of time.

    The Saboteur class already comes with the Twin Silver Grip ability, which allows you to wield two melee weapons. The player can opt for any one-handed slashing weapon. 

    As much as this build is about wielding two weapons, it's also about mobility. With that in mind, the player must maintain a balance between Strength and Agility when upgrading stats.

    5 | VERSATILE MERCENARY

    The Mercenary class is only available to those who pre-ordered the game. This class promotes versatility. With that in mind, those who play melee while minimally utilizing other combat elements like range and psi powers can find balance in the Mercenary class.

    While the Mercenary class is diverse, those opting for melee builds will prioritize this aspect of the game. For this build, while the player can choose ranged weapons and Psi powers, the main focus should still be on the Strength stat. The player can also choose or switch between various melee weapons, whichever they prefer.

    Two-handed slashing weapons are amazing to use. Not only do they feel very familiar and at home considering the game's genre, but they also have some of the biggest damage effects in the game. 


    Similar to crushing weapons, however, two-handed slashing weapons can also have incredibly slow wind-ups. This, however, does not mean that the player cannot be creative in the game. This is what the Nimble Slasher build will highlight.

    In order for this build to work properly, the player will need to properly balance three things from the game mechanics – brute strength, vitality, and mobility. The Saboteur class ensures proper mobility. The Hyla race gives players resilience. Damage is ultimately drawn from the effectiveness of the two-handed slashing weapon.

    3 | ULTIMATE TANK

    Thanks to the Sentinel class, the player can play this game from start to finish, playing as an ultimate tank. This will make the player highly resistant to almost all attacks. Of course, this won't make them invincible, but it's the closest the player can get to that in Biomutant.

    The player can use any melee weapon they are comfortable with. The main highlight of this is the increase in health and armor. The Sentinel class and the Hyla race already provide a healthy initial boost to Vitality. The player can only move up from there. They should also wear armor sets that have the perfect balance between armor and health.

    2 | MELEE-MAGE

    Just because the player is employing a melee build doesn't mean they can't make use of the game's various Psi-Powers. That's what this building is for. Pairing the Psi-Freak class with any weapon the player is comfortable with is the core foundation of this build.

    • Advantages  â€“ Ki Energize, Adrenaline, Whet, Megamind, Nocturnal, Mind Melt, Psi Spikes, Brain Drain

    Since this is a melee build, the player can simply use whichever weapon they are most satisfied with. The Psi-Freak construction comes with the Spark Gloves and a similar but also more powerful one can be obtained later in the game if the player wants to keep this type of weapon. 

    For the sake of consistency, if the player wants to remain strictly melee, many of the Biogenetics and Psi-Powers in the game are for melee combat. This includes Mud Punch, Blaze, Blink and Freeze.

    1 | CRITICAL MASTER

    This build takes advantage of the critical chance mechanic to ensure the player can inflict the most damage possible in the game. However, due to the critical chance of requiring resources, this build also compromises attention to stats that increase health and defense.

    The Mercenary class is best for this build because of its Brutality advantage, which increases the critical damage of melee attacks by 10%. 

    They should also maximize their luck stat to further increase their critical chance. To complete, the player must find equipment that increases the critical chance. Once the construction is completed, the player will be a critical damage powerhouse.
